Over the past 12 months, we have been working closely with the team at System1 to finalise a merger with Protected.net and list the combined entities on the New York Stock Exchange.
System1 is a company founded in 2013 and, like Protected.net, has experienced fast pace growth, with five offices worldwide and 300 staff. We are thrilled to be joining forces with them.
The new combined company will be named System1, Inc. and, as of Friday, is now live on the NYSE and trading under the new ticker symbol “SST”.
Unable to travel to New York due to the current restrictions, we could not partake in the tradition of ringing the stock exchange bell at the opening of trade. So naturally, we didn’t let this deter us. We commissioned a replica bell and threw a huge event at the UK office, which coincided in real-time with the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange.
This announcement marks a truly historic and significant milestone for System1 and Protected.
