September 12, 2016. Hampshire. Locally owned Oakleaf Brewery announced administration early last month. Today, announcements from investment firm Just Develop It in Hampshire, reveal a rescue agreement has been reached.

Company officials are expected to meet with head brewer Ed Anderson, who has been brewing award winning ale for 16 years at Oakleaf, to discuss resurrecting the brewery in its current location.
Just Develop It have made waves in Hampshire with the million pound refurbishment of Skylark Golf and Country Club amongst many successful IT companies, fashion labels and a large property portfolio.
The takeover will involve an exciting phase of rebranding and large investment whilst remaining firmly rooted in Gosport. The brewery is to be renamed Fallen Acorn Brewing Co. paying homage to the successful 16 year run Oakleaf has had in Hampshire, and the UK ale scene previously.
