Jan 17, 2017. Hampshire. Just Develop It CEO Chris Phillips has donated to the Petersfield School in Havant, Hampshire, to enable the opening of a new Literacy Lab.

A former pupil of the school, Chris struggled himself at a young age due to dyslexia and he was determined to help children in a similar position.
The Literacy Lab helps younger students who have struggled with literacy since primary school and gives them the perfect environment to improve their skills and enjoy their time at school.
Chris was honoured to open the Lab and address the pupils in assembly. He explained that he was never a model student and experienced his fair share of failures, but these failures have taught him the importance of perseverance and how key it has been to his success.
Since the Literacy Lab was launched, teacher Kit Curtis-Raleigh said it has proved to be a helpful and unique tool for the teachers, as well as becoming popular with students.
Year 7 pupil George West said "The Literacy lab is a nice quiet environment which helps me to concentrate and learn more. It has made me feel more confident to read and write in lessons."
