JDi Property Holdings forms part of the Just Develop It group and has a vast portfolio of properties across Hampshire and the South Coast.

The Lettings Negotiator is an integral role within the business and requires excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. A professional attitude and ability to build professional relationships is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Producing marketing materials and advertising available properties in a timely manner

  • Keep applicant database up to date and send off relevant marketing particulars

  • Conduct all viewings with interested applicants

  • Carry out the full referencing process (including credit checks, employment and previous Landlord references)

  • Carry out and prepare all inventories ready for new move ins

  • Bond deposits within the DPS

  • Opening of utilities for new tenancies

  • Maintain and update online databases (Arthur/Xero) for all properties

  • Report on vacancies in weekly property meetings

  • Updating the vacant & rental prediction reports - ensuring Xero reflects the correct rental figures to Arthur

  • Assist the Property Manager with rental increases on renewals due

  • Assist with implementing legislation changes


Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Previous Lettings Negotiator experience required

  • Must have a ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to take on a challenge

  • Organisational skills

  • Diary management

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Awareness of Lettings processes and legislation

  • Full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential to the role
