JDi Property Holdings is one of the fastest growing property portfolio's on the South Coast that has an in house property management team. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Lettings Coordinator.

The Lettings Coordinator is an integral role within the business and requires excellent organisational skills combined with numeral accuracy and attention to detail.  The role requires the management of our property portfolio therefore a professional attitude and ability to build professional relationships is essential.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the rental of properties – monitor rents received, problems with properties/tenants etc.

  • Carry out the check out process

  • Liaise with the maintenance department to ensure the property is ready for rental & new tenants.

  • Liaise with tenants and the DPS on deposit deductions, lodge deposits for new tenants

  • Contact utility suppliers and councils upon check out & check in of the properties

  • Book and carry out routine inspection of properties

  • Renewal of contracts & rent increase implementation

  • Liaising with agents to get vacant properties live in a timely manner for re let, chasing for feedback & updates

  • Updating the vacant & rental prediction reports

  • Distribution of new tenant information packs upon check in

  • Purchasing and monitoring property insurance

  • Maintain and update online database (Arthur) for all properties, daily syncing of systems

  • Liaise with accounts department on rental income, ensuring increases are reflected on both systems

  • Issue Section 8 and 21 Notices and follow through the process to eviction

  • Assist with implementing legislation changes


Experience

  • Previous lettings experience essential

  • Must have a ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to take on a challenge

  • Organisational skills

  • Diary management

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Knowledge of accounts and financial management

  • Awareness of property management processes
